Description of the Botanical Sample /

The selected region displays the dried, woody fruits of Helicteres isora, widely known as the Indian Screw Tree, Marod Phali (Hindi), or Avartani (Sanskrit). The pods feature a highly distinctive, tight spiral structure resembling a screw or tightly wound rope. They are naturally grayish-brown with thin, elongated stalks.
