 الوصف (شو هي؟)

* الشكل: حبوب كبيرة، مدورة، وناعمة. لونها بني غامق أو يميل للاحمرار، وملمسها وايد صلب مثل الخشب.

* الميزة: قشرتها الخارجية قوية وما يخترقها الماي، وعشان جيه تطفو فوق بحر العرب والمحيطات وتنتقل من بلاد لبلاد بدون ما تخترب.

* الأحلام الجلية: مشهورة عالمياً وبالمجال الشعبي إنها تساعد على تذكر الأحلام وتخليها واضحة و"حية" للشخص وهو نايم.

* آلام الظهر والمفاصل: في الطب الشعبي وعند العطارين، تستخدم لتخفيف العوق (الألم) في الظهر، الديسك، وعرق النسا.

* الحفظ والزينة: بعض الناس يحتفظون بها في المخابي (الجيوب) أو يسوون منها قلائد للزينة، وتعتبر عند بعض الشعوب القديمة كفال خير أو حرز.

طريقة الاستخدام؟

* لألم الظهر (طريقة شعبية): يكسرون القشرة الصلبة بعناية، وياخذون اللب الأبيض اللي داخلها، يطحنونه، وعقب يخلطونه مع عسل طبيعي أو زيت دافي، ويدهنون به مكان الوجع.

* للأحلام: يطحنون كمية وايد صغيرة من اللب الداخلي، ويشربونها كـ "جاي" (شاي) دافي قبل الرقاد مباشرة.
